Emma was amazing. She was present in every way.... helpful, supportive, informative, communicative, cheery....and fed us an excellent brekkie!
Room view was great, bed just perfect and we slept so well, shower easy to work with great water pressure.
Handy to everything but out of the hustle.... wonderful stay, thanks so much Emma and chef. We really appreciated everything about Fern Howe. 🌻
Needless to say the Lakes region was spectacular too!!

Lovely people, lovely place! Can’t fault the service at all! The room was perfect for what we needed. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was really good, the eggs were poached to perfection! I honestly don’t have a negative thing to say!

Lovely home from home in heart of Lake District
Fern Howe sets you up ideally for exploring the northern lakes. Comfortable with an excellent breakfast and close to Derwentwater, Ullswater, Borrowdale and Buttermere. Easy to reach by car or bus and with fine local facilities in Braithwaite village.

We loved this place. Seriously good breakfasts that set us up for long walking days. Rooms were clean and comfortable with breathtaking views. Very good value when compared to other properties in the area. The owners were very attentive and gracious. Highly recommended.
